In our successful seasonal restaurant at the riverbank, “Su-Ellen’s Waldheim Beizli” we serve only local wines.
At Wiler32 we added international wines such as Italian and Spanish but also wines from overseas territories are on the wine list. Some of these can even be ordered by the glass.
Our local wines are all produced by our “neighbors”, Winery “Ganter and Bechtel”, Winegrowers-association Eglisau, and winery Pircher. These high quality wines where much appreciated at Su-Ellen’s, so we kept them on the menu of Wiler32.
As an aperitif to start with, we recommend our “Eglisauer Blanc de Noir” light, easy drinking and slightly addictive. It is the wine we use the most at Su-Ellen’s
Our Rosé is a little heavier but very fruity and suits perfect to our fish dishes and cheese. The “Eglisauer Blauburgunder” is a typical table wine, not too heavy and a perfect choice for dishes with cheese or vegetarian menus.
The award winning organic grown Pircher “Regent”, a hybrid between American and European vines, is mostly selected by our guests to accompany our Fondue Bourguignonne.
